We will hold the Symposium on “Approach for a Future Society led by Harmony between Human and AI”. We will present our interim report of this Project, "International and Interdisciplinary Research Center for the Next-generation Artificial Intelligence and Semiotics".

Since its establishment in 2008, Ritsumeikan Global Innovation Research Organization (R-GIRO) has focused on issues that need to be solved to create a sustainable society and has contributed to society through education and research.

The Third-Phase R-GIRO Research Program for COE Formation was launched in July 2016, with a view to establishing a model of a human coexistence society that is sufficiently full of vitality and creativity to overcome the problems of an aging population with fewer children.

In this Symposium, we will present our latest Research Results. We will hold about 50 poster sessions by Researchers and students from 5 Research Groups, and give a demonstration of Service Robot which won NEDO Chairman’s Award and SICE Award at the World Robot Challenge 2018 Service Category.

We hope to see many of you.

2020年２月１９日に、シンポジウム「人とＡＩの調和が導く未来社会に向けたアプローチ」を開催いたします。R-GIRO研究拠点Ⅳ：高齢者の生きがい・生産労働化「次世代人工知能と記号学の国際融合研究拠点」プロジェクトの2019年度中間報告シンポジウムです。

立命館グローバル・イノベーション研究機構（R-GIRO）では、2008年の設立以降、持続可能な社会形成のために解決すべき課題に焦点を絞り、教育・研究を通じて社会貢献していくための組織的な機構として活動してきました。2016年度から始動した「第３期拠点形成型R-GIROプログラム」では少子高齢化で解決しなければならない研究課題に向けてアプローチを進めています。

今回のシンポジウムでは「第３期拠点形成型R-GIROプログラム」のプロジェクトである「次世代人工知能と記号学の国際融合研究拠点」の最新の研究成果をご報告いたします。また、拠点内の５グループから研究者と学生の総勢約５０名によるポスターセッションや、World Robot Challenge 2018 Service Category でＮＥＤＯ理事長賞、計測自動制御学会賞を受賞したサービスロボットのデモンストレーションも行います。是非お越しください！
